 President’s Award

Whereas: David Rose agreed to serve as Secretary of the Florida Veterans’ Hall of Fame Society, and
Whereas: David Rose took upon himself the job of creating and maintain the Society Web Site, and has linked the Web Site with Facebook, Wikipedia, and other web sites, and 
Whereas:  David Rose acted as the Society’s Commemorative Partner with the United States 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War, and has presented over 100 Vietnam Veteran Pins, along with Blue Star and Gold Star Family recognition packets consisting of a certificate and pin, and developed and displayed a map on the Society Web Site showing where the recipients of the pins lived, and 
Whereas: David Rose created the relationship with the Library of Congress Oral History Vietnam Veteran Interview Program, and, converted those Oral History interviews into a series of Society Books, and
Whereas:  David Rose compiled a book of the biographies of all the members of the Florida Veterans’ Hall of Fame.
Therefore, be it known that:
David Rose is awarded the President’s Medal, from the grateful members of the Florida Veterans’ Hall of Fame Society.
