Whereas:  Thomas Gates has worked tirelessly as a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Veterans' Hall of Fame Society, and
Whereas: Thomas Gates volunteered to be the Fundraising Chairman for the Society, and
Whereas: Thomas Gates developed a business plan for the Society, and
Whereas: Thomas Gates created and Chairs the Veteran Scholarship Program funded by the Society, and
Whereas: Thomas Gates has raised over $15,000 to fund the Scholarship Program, and
Whereas: Thomas Gates continues to seek funding for the Society.
Therefore: Be it known that Thomas Gates is awarded the 2020 Presidents Medal from the grateful members of the Florida Veterans' Hall of Fame Society.
